EnvisionTEC

3D PRINTER

Our EnVisiontec 3-D printer gives us the ability to create beautiful restorations with the highest level of precision in record time. Printing models, crowns, dentures, clear orthodontic aligners, & mouth guards are just a few examples of what this revolutionary technology can do. Often eliminating the use of an outside lab allows Dr. Dillard to directly oversee the quality and aesthetics of the work and lowers the cost to our patients. The old ways of pouring up yucky impressions and working with fragile stone models are gone leaving zero possibility for bacterial cross-contamination. The EnVisiontec printer has been a trend-setter and industry leader printing nearly 10 times the speed of most dental 3-D printers.

INTRAORAL SCANNER

The wireless intraoral scanner features the same insane speed, documented accuracy and leading technologies that made our TRIOS digital color impression solution the winner of the Cellerant Best of Class Technology Award for Intraoral Scanners the last four years in a row.

And like all TRIOS models, its accuracy enables the digital impression-taking of a full range of indications and materials including the scanning for removable partial dentures, temporary crowns, virtual diagnostic wax-ups, and post and core cases.

DENTAL CAMERA

Digital CAD/CAM scans are by far the most significant advancement in dental technology allowing us to create a 100% digital virtual replica of a patient’s mouth that can be manipulated to give us a view of the inside of your mouth from any angle without you even needing to be present. Capturing this image is quick and painless with a brief intra-oral video recording of you upper and lower teeth. This image provides full color dimensionally accurate access to a complete picture of your mouth that we have never been able to view before.

- Proprietary FlashMatic system with automatic flash settings for precise lighting control to capture images in true color, thus assuring accurate representation of the dental shade.

- Easy illustration of magnification indicator allows selection of appropriate range / ratio while auto cropping function crops image to preferred ratio even when shooting distance is not optimal.

- Additional draw option enables user to highlight area of interest in the image. Infra-red, UV and anti-reflection filters in the camera boost image quality.

RADIATION FREE CAVITY DETECTION

DEXIS CariVu™ is a compact, portable caries detection device that uses patented transillumination technology to support the identification of occlusal, inter-proximal and recurrent carious lesions and cracks.

CariVu images are a radiation-free alternative to traditional x-rays used when we need more information about a suspected fracture or possible decay between your teeth that is not visible on your bitewing radiographs. CariVu is helpful for patients with a history of head & neck radiation concerned about additional exposure. CariVu is also a great alternative for kids, patients who are pregnant, have sensitive gag reflexes, or small mouths.

CariVu continues in the long DEXIS tradition of providing intuitive, easy-to-use diagnostic tools for the dental community.

By hugging the tooth and bathing it in safe, near-infrared light, CariVu’s transillumination technology makes the enamel appear transparent while porous lesions trap and absorb the light. This unique caries detector allows the clinician to see through the tooth exposing its structure and the actual structure of any carious lesions with very high accuracy.

Similar in appearance, DEXIS CariVu images read like familiar X-ray images — lesions will appear as dark areas. This provides an edge over fluorescent imaging technologies in that there is no need to clean the tooth of bacteria, calibrate the device or become versed in the meaning of multiple color codes or numeric indicators.

Trium CBCT

3D TECHNOLOGY THAT FACILITATES OSSEOINTEGRATION WITH INSTANT VOLUME MEASUREMENT AND BONE DENSITY ASSESSMENT

Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) images are made when we have exhausted all other means of determining the cause for pain or the source of infection. These allow us to see detailed 3 dimensional images giving us visual access to areas we cannot otherwise see. These images are frequently used to locate a fracture or abscess obscured by the tooth roots in a standard radiograph and give us a clear view of suspected tumors & cysts. CBCT is also used in treatment planning the location of proposed dental implant(s).

The evolution of dental technology is such that we can now perform procedures which were unimaginable 10 years ago. In the field of implantology, the success rate for implant placements has progressed notably due to pre-implant procedures. The implant is the key element in this revolution, but it is essential to also have a high quality bone support: ACTEON created a global solution for that with the combination of 3 products (X-MIND TRIUM, QUALIOS, PIEZOTOME). • X-MIND TRIUM™: the 3D technology that facilitates the implant planning with immediate volume measurement and bone density assessment • QUALIOSTM: Unique structure and high mechanical resistance for optimal bone regeneration • PIEZOTOME® CUBE: Dynamic power responsiveness for superior osseous surgery All these ACTEON® innovations result from the research of 5 design offices which collaborate daily with international dental surgeons to offer patients faster and more natural results.

NOX T3 Sleep Monitor

NOX T3 Home Sleep Monitor is available for our patients who have signs and symptoms of destructive nighttime bruxism. This monitor is used to confirm whether bruxism is occurring during the night and to screen our patients for sleep related breathing disorders commonly associated with bruxism. Treating bruxism without a sleep study can significantly endanger a patient’s health in the presence of undiagnosed sleep disorders so we make it convenient to determine whether other issues are a factor.

The Nox T3 portable respiratory sleep monitor has quickly earned an excellent reputation with thousands of devices in use worldwide. It has become the preferred choice in a wide variety of applications, including sleep apnea, PLMS, sleep bruxism, and more.

The Nox T3 system was designed with users and patients in mind. The ergonomic design saves time during patient hook-up and results in more patient comfort. The likelihood of failed home studies is greatly reduced through the wireless approach of the design.

The NOX T3 portable sleep monitor is a type 3 device with a simple patient hookup, wireless bluetooth oximeter, auto start/stop, fast data download, and immediate study results including pulse transit time / sleep time. The NOX T3 has extended applicability to pediatrics, dental, cardiologist and ENT patients.

  • Thorax and abdomen RIP effort + RIP flow - RIP phase for paradoxical breathing
  • Redundant flow signal through RIP effort, nasal cannula and CPAP check
  • Integrated snore microphone with true audio signal
  • Wireless signals SpO2, pulse, snore, body position
  • Standard disposable or rechargeable batteries (AA)

Each NOX T3 includes

  • 1 NOX T3 portable sleep monitor device

Photography

Photography is sometimes used inside or outside of the mouth to document tooth position, profile, tooth shade, and smile esthetics for patients who are seeking orthodontic treatment. Photos are also used to record changes in tissue that we need to re-evaluate at a later date.

Manual Neuromuscular Examinations

Manual Neuromuscular Examinations are used to document the location of trigger points or overdeveloped muscles that contribute to destructive bruxism.

Our overarching goal is to thoroughly assess your oral health which includes more than just your teeth. We strive to collect complete and accurate data from your dental exam while using the safest and most conservative approach that modern dentistry has to offer. We believe that this is crucial in order to provide you with the information you need to make the best decisions for your long-term health. Your teeth have to last a lifetime and that doesn’t happen accidentally; lifelong dental health is the result of active preventive care and early detection of disease coupled with early intervention to stop its progression and preserve the health and function of your teeth.
