If you dread dental visits and can't bring yourself to see a dentist until you have a problem you can't ignore, we are going to show you how that can be different. Why? Because removing that fear, and replacing the bad memories of past dental experiences with positive ones will allow you to come see us long before a problem gets so bad that it can't be fixed without spending a small fortune. Regular preventive care improves your whole body health, meaning you feel better & look better, because you are better! A healthy mouth means living a longer life and we think that's an awesome thing to play a part in.

It is equally important for you to understand what we are able to provide so that together we can create a partnership that will be successful.
Access to Care: as a patient of record, same day emergency appointments are available when you call before 11am. Calls after 11am will be seen within 24 hours. A dental emergency is defined as pain, inflammation, inability to eat or speak with comfort, broken or lost teeth (natural or prosthetic) in the “smile zone”, broken dentures, and trauma. If you have an afterhours emergency, you may contact Dr. Dillard by calling or texting the emergency number on our voicemail and offered an appointment the next business day. Every effort will be made to accommodate your schedule but flexibility on your part may be needed to be seen within this timeframe.
Honesty: we will provide you with an honest assessment of your oral/dental conditions and needs. Recommended care will be based on what we have experienced to have the best long-term outcome. Treatment alternatives will be provided along with their risks and benefits. Recommendations will not be governed by what your insurance policy allows. However, when we are aware of opportunities to maximize your benefit or reduce your cost without compromising your care, we will share that information with you.
Quality: the materials we use are chosen based on their quality, performance, safety, and cost. The services we provide are selected case by case; when I cannot confidently provide a service equal in quality to that of a specialist, a referral will be made to a specialist.
Integrity: we will give you the best that our skills and knowledge can provide. Because we are human, we will make mistakes. When we discover mistakes or errors that we have made, whether it is a poorly fitted crown or an overcharge on your account, you will be made aware of that error and it will be corrected. If you feel uncertain about work that we have recommended or completed, we encourage you to bring that to our attention. We do not take offense to second opinions and will happily provide you with any records, images/x-rays, or reports upon your request if you would like to seek a second opinion.
Respect: we will be respectful of your preferences, questions, finances, feelings, and time. We make every effort to see you at your scheduled time. Due to the nature of our work, there may be times when emergencies, or unexpected developments during a dental procedure prevent this. If we know in advance that we are not going to be able to see you on time, we will try to contact you prior to your arrival. If we are running more than 20 minutes behind and you prefer to be rescheduled, there will be no penalty for doing so. It is our hope that you will understand that dental emergencies happen, they cannot be scheduled for. Today it may be someone else’s emergency, tomorrow it may be yours. We will be there for both.
Privacy: we will share only what is minimally necessary with whom you have given us permission to share. This may include 3rd party payers/insurance companies, designated responsible parties, designated as translators, dental labs, pharmacies, doctors, and their staff who are involved in your treatment.
